My personal opinion about this edition:

What a disappointment.

It begins with the first attack, a young girl of 14 years old attacked by the Beast and barely saved by her brother… (no one ever mentioned the presence of a brother).

Afterwards we read contradictions throughout this booklet, which are presented by the author as facts. At one moment it’s a wolf, another time a hybrid, and then later the author announces “modern scientists have studied the testimonies to try to determine what species of animal it was but the results are uncertain….

Then, totally false claims: DNA analysis has been conducted on the remains of the Beast which are preserved, permitting us to determine its species. The results show that the Beast was a hybrid between a European wolf and a domesticated dog…. No remains of the animal have ever been found to this day.

Reading this booklet, stuffed with inaccuracies and false information, one senses that it was written by an adolescent who was asked to write an essay on the Beast of Gévaudan, or maybe even by ChatGPT.

In short, I strongly advise you not to buy this book.
